Book Signing with Interior Designer Karen Davis and Photographer Brandt Bolding - At Home in the American Barn

Interior designer Karen Davis and photographer Brandt Bolding signed copies of At Home in the American Barn (Rizzoli International Publications) at The Hickory Stick Bookshop.

Litchfield County resident Karen Davis, a contributor to the book, has a range of hotel and residential interior design and project management experience. She formed Davis Raines Design in 2001, where her individual approach to projects is possible. Previously, she had been an interior designer for two internationally recognized hospitality design firms in New York and Los Angeles as well as a renowned design team for luxury residences in Los Angeles, since 1992. She has worked on projects in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia.

Brandt Bolding is a New York based photographer. After getting a Music degree, Brandt worked as a musician and educator before moving to New York to work as an architect. It was there that he began to keep a photographic record of historic buildings and landscapes. His photographs have since become the subject of many large exhibitions across the country. Before At Home in the American Barn, Bolding has had images published in the book Old Homes of New England: Historic Houses in Clapboard, Shingle, and Stone (Rizzoli 2010), as well as in journals, magazines, and newspapers throughout the Eastern United States.
